St Andrews ‘World Class’ –
business views and needs sought

Blue Horizons has won the contract to undertake research in one of Scotland’s top tourist destinations, St Andrews. Working in partnership with the St Andrews World Class Project’s Manpower, Skills and Business Development Group, the company is surveying all of St Andrews 600 businesses and conducting interviews and focus groups throughout June and July 2004.

Commenting on the contract, Blue Horizons Managing Director, Jackie Waring states; “We are absolutely delighted to be undertaking one of the most important research projects of its kind in Scotland today. The St Andrews World Class Project is a private sector led initiative designed to build on one of our country’s greatest, globally recognised, “World Class” destinations. It is also important to recognise that the vision for St Andrews is about much more than tourism and golf, it is also about St Andrews as a place to live and work. It is fantastic to see the business community taking such initiative and working so positively in partnership with the public sector and development agencies.”
